Problem

Embedding a google document on a Catapult website page

Solution

First you will need to get the HTML Embed code from Google. To do this follow the following steps.

  1. Get the Embed Code from Google.

    • Open a file in Google Docs, Sheets, or Slides.

    • At the top, click File. Publish to the web.

    • In the window that appears, click Embed.

    • Copy the Embed Code

  2. Add the google document embed code to Catapult

    • Login to Catapult

    • Go to Manage Websites

    • Edit your Website

    • Go to the page you would like to edit

    • Make sure the Edit Panel is open

  • Drag the Element Labeled HTML on the page in the content region you would like.

  • Paste the code in the second box labeled “code”

  • Hit Save.

  • Publish your website to Staging or Live to see the results.
