Adding a new page will automatically update the navigation bar which is the bar running across your landing page with all of your main headers. Top-level pages will show up as main navigation items, child pages one level down will show up as dropdown items, and going down each consecutive level will mean there will be dropdown items stemming from dropdown items. It’s better not to add too many items under one page, as this can cause the menu to dip below the browser’s viewport.

Pages and Edit Panel

The left side of your screen contains two main components for controlling your website and these are the ‘Pages’ and ‘Edit’ panels.

Your ‘Pages’ panel will include:

  • The structure of your website A view of every page in your site and the ability to add, drag, rearrange, and organize your pagesthem.

  • The gray ‘Home’ section in the very top of your ‘Pages’ panel contains these basic functions to setup your website the way you want: Edit, Add, Hide, Rename, Delete, and Duplicate.

    • The Edit feature allows you to make changes to the page you select

    • The Add feature allows you to add additional child pages

    • The Hide feature allows you to remove a page’s visibility from your navigation. This page will not deleted, but it will require a link for it to be accessed.

    • The Rename feature allows you to change the page name

    • The Delete feature allows you to permanently remove a page

    • The Duplicate feature allows you to copy a page entirely, including content and layout
