Adding a new page will automatically update the navigation bar which is the bar running across your landing page with all of your main headers. Top-level pages will show up as main navigation items, child pages one level down will show up as dropdown items, and going down each consecutive level will mean there will be dropdown items stemming from dropdown items. It’s best practice better not to not add too many items under one navigation itempage, as this can cause the menu to dip below the browser’s viewport.
Pages and Edit Panel
The left side of your screen contains two main components for controlling your websites website and these are the ‘Pages’ and ‘Edit’ panels.
Your ‘Pages’ panel will include:
The structural components structure of your website and the easy ability to drag, rearrange, and organize your pages.
The gray ‘Home’ section in the very top of your ‘Pages’ panel contains these basic functions to setup your website the way you want: Edit, Add, Hide, Rename, Delete, and Duplicate.
The edit Edit feature allows you to make changes to the pages or child pages page you select
The add Add feature allows you to add additional pages or child pages
The hide Hide feature allows you to remove a page’s visibility from your navigation. This page is will not deleted, but it will require a link for anyone it to access itbe accessed.
The Rename feature allows you to change the names of your pages or child pagespage name
The delete Delete feature allows you to permanently remove pages or child pagesa page
The duplicate Duplicate feature allows you to copy pages or child pages to maintain either the same information, same layout, or both!a page entirely, including content and layout
