  3.  Take Action (e.g. Lockdown, Shelter-In-Place, Evacuate)

  4.  Once Action is completed: login to CatapultEMS.com to report

    1. Your Location

    2. Your Status

    3. Your Students

When an Action Alert or Code Red is initiated, you will receive a text message and email from CatapultEMS containing summary information and a link to login to CatapultEMS.

Action Alerts (Code Red) are best used for emergency situations where you will end the day of learning and take action(evacuate, lockdown, etc.) and account for your students.

  1. When the Action Alert has been initiated, you will be walked through a wizard asking you to report your status, location, and account for any students you may have.

  2. When accounting for students, please account for students that you can actually see.

Once the wizard is complete, you will be redirected to your dashboard. From here, you can view the following:

  1. Messages

  2. Action Alert Detail

  3. Your Status

  4. Your Location

  5. Your Student List

  6. Resources (Maps, Procedures)

Your Status, Location, and Student List can be updated at any time.

You can view and send messages to your school administrators using the ‘Messages’ tab on the dashboard.
New messages will come in as a pulsing red light. To respond, please type your message in the chat bar and hit ‘Send’.

When the Action Alert (Code Red) has been resolved, your dashboard will reset and you will receive another email and text message with resolution details.
